the Brent Chua

They dubbed you as Asian Male Supermodel, how does it feel? I appreciate all the support from everyone. It’s also hard to be labeled as someone most specially a supermodel as there are expectations from the industry people. What I do is just to always give my 100% in everything.
How did you get into modeling? I was at a club and a director just pulled me and asked me if I can walk for his show the following, then…the rest is history.
How is it so far? It has been great. I came in to the industry without any expectations and every year seems to be better and better. I love all the people who believe and supports me because without them, I am nothing.
What are your agencies abroad? W Talent Management( Philippines ), Diva Models ( Singapore ), Cilla and Associates ( Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Red ( Bangkok, Thailand ), Stars ( Bali, Indonesia ), Catwalk ( Taipe, Taiwan ), Elite ( Hong Kong ),Fashion ( Milan and London ) and Ford ( NYC )

When did you start working in New York? I started working in New York four seasons ago.
How is modeling competition in New York? How do you deal with it? Modeling in New York is the same everywhere. There are just more models and fashion houses around. As I have mentioned earlier, I just give all my 100% and be professional.
Describe a model’s day in New York? Waking up at 11am. Getting calls from my agent and checking in with them every 2 hours for any job/s or casting/s. Working out. Going to a park to Chill. hanging out with my best friend.
How long do you plan to do modeling? As long as the industry still supports and believes in me, I’ll be here.
What are your recent projects? Recent projects include ads for Macy’s, Redken Seiko, Hugh… editorials, covers, and fashion shows.

What are your goals as a model? As already mentioned earlier, I came in to this industry without any expectations and/or goals. I’ll do whatever project my agent gives me and give my 100% .
How do you describe your personal style? It changes every now and then but it should be comfortable.
I noticed that you have this outstanding haircut that is really unconventional, is that a personal choice? is attitude/personality a big factor in modeling, like the long hair of Jethro Cave, tattoo of Josh Beech and Ash Stymest ? Thank you. Its not actually my choice, its my mother agency’s choice. Personality plays a very important role in a models career I believe.
How long are you going to stay here in Manila? I’m staying till the middle of August.
What can Manila fashion expect from you while you are here? I have done numerous shoots for editorials, exhibitions. I am doing a couple of runways shows at the end of the month. What can Manila fashion expect from me? My PROFESSIONALISM and my energy!

Thanks to Brent Chua for the time and for sending photos.
