Test Shoot Gallery ( TSG ) from Singapore is a newly started online gallery which helps promote fresh talents in art and fashion through various collaborations with photographers, fashion stylist, models, make-up artists and designers.

Having a mindset of opening a possibility of reaching directly to different people and sharing ideas that invoke better output and inspiration, Ashburn Eng, creative director and stylist, started TSG. Since its commencement on December 2008, TSG continues to produce wonderful images.

“We are not sponsors bonded, so we are not hard-pressed to feature any brand.” For this reason, collaborations in TSG are open; creative ideas are limitless

“The most memorable collaboration in TSG is the underwater shots from Tragic Beauty. We were concern about finding a good way to light up the subject underwater without ruining our equipment. It was exciting and worrying at the same time, as we know that we can’t control how the hair and makeup look and how the clothes move in the water and if the model can pose easily in water. But the shots turn out great anyway!”

The positive remarks from various magazines, fashion blog sites and veterans in the industry, as well as the fantastic responses from the followers of the gallery, inspire TSG collaborations to come up with more beautiful images.

TSG’s goal is to become a multi-disciplinary art platform, to be a nexus of different pop culture, inspiring designs and spectacular fashion. And for as long as creative individuals intend to keep TSG running, it is not impossible, that TSG will accomplish this goal. Or maybe, it already has.
