It took me some time to photograph her, as my camera was malfunctioning. But, I love the output. She has great style, and those eyes are just mesmerizing! Olivia starred in fashion editorials both for ICON and Alexis Magazine, and also walked for Chanel show. She is with Mannequin Studio.

Public eye features for Time Out Singapore is sometimes double the fun or double the trouble! It is tough to convince someone to be photographed and even tougher to persuade them to take part in an interview. Together with Dannon Har, we look for interesting people around the city. They are not necessarily fashionable or stylish as long as they stand out from the throng.

In the October issue of the magazine, we feature Melyn Tan. We bumped into him with his wife at International Plaza. Here is an excerpt from the interview.

How did you propose? [Wife laughs coyly] Well, I told her I love her and want to spend my life with her, and asked if she felt the same.
She said yes then?  No, she didn’t say yes immediately. She said, ‘Let’s assess what we have and think about what we want in life, and if we have a common goal then we’ll go for it.’ And we do have common goals.
You still haven’t described the scenario in which you proposed.  [Wife laughs again…] We were in bed one evening [grins] and I just said to her, ‘I really love you and I really want to spend the rest of my life with you.’
