Gustavo Lins

One of the official member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture 2011, Gustavo Lins has apprenticed for John Galliano, Lecoanet Hemant and Jean-Paul Gaultier Couture. Mr. Lins is known for his delicate draping combined with slim silhoutte on his womenswear.

Maxime Simoëns

“Maxime Simoëns was born in Lille in 1984. Since he was a child, painting, theatre and cinema were his favorite hobbies. After completing his A Levels, Maxime went to study applied arts in Lyon, and then joined the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. He won the first prize for Lace Fashion at the International Competition I-Design, as well as the first prize for Incentive in France and the François Lesage prize both at the International Competition For Young Fashion Designers. In 2006, he came first in his year and continued his apprenticeship with the designers of major fashion houses such as Elie Saab, Jean-Paul Gaultier, John Galliano for Christian Dior and Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga.” – WFW

Women’s Fashion Week

I am back in Singapore, where the Women’s Fashion Week has just started. Shows officially kicked-off on the 27th of October featuring designs of Gustavo Lins and Maxine Simoens. Other Paris Haute Couturiers namely : Anne Valerie Hash, Christophe Josse, Stéphane Rolland, Dominique Sirop, Alexis Mabille, and Emeric Francois will showcase their collection until the 30th of October. This exclusive event is being held at the Marina Bay Sands.
