Paris. Hot off the press. September 1, 2015. A nine year licensing agreement has been signed by Safilo and Elie Saab for their new eyewear collection.
Luisa Delgado, CEO of Safilo, Italian eyewear creator and Elie Saab, Lebanese designer, announced the launching of the very first Elie Saab eyewear collection, which will be available from January 2017. It will be sold in Elie Saab boutiques and exclusive eyewear boutiques worldwide.
The Elie Saab eyewear collection will recognise the principles of both company – sophisticated designs and finest craftsmanship, showcasing intricate details, precious materials and lightness. The eyewear will be crafted in Italy and Japan using using the most refined and qualitative techniques.

Since then, the House of Elie Saab has continued to develop with its ready-to-wear and accessories collection, and a signature perfume which was launched in 2011.
