London. The annual Swarovski Collective is back! Announced last April 26, 2016, applications for the latest edition of the Swarovski Collective, the initiative founded by Nadja Swarovski to celebrate and nurture new and established fashion design talent, is now open.
The program will provide a year-long support; financial and product, to successful applicants who will show in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks for the Spring/Summer 2017 and Autumn/Winter 2017. One designer will be awarded with the prestigious Swarovski award, for using the most innovative use of crystal in the two seasons’ collections. Applications must be submitted no later than Friday May 20, 2016 for consideration.
The Swarovski Collective, whose aim is to help emerging and established designers by encouraging and challenging them to explore creative boundaries of crystal use and craftsmanship, was founded in 1999 following Nadja Swarovski’s collaboration with a young Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow.
