Malu Mello is the face of the summer campaign for the clothing brand Freeway. She has been in the city for a month and a half where she is represented by Ideal People. Aside from Manila, Malu has been to India, China and Thailand to model. She is from Brazil.

Charlene Sawit is an author. Her first novel entitled Kissing Yellow Dogs Goodnight is slated for publication in England at the end of the year. She also contributes for magazines like Mega, Rouge and Esquire.
Expressing her thoughts on Manila street fashion, she stated, “It is a wide mixture. You have people who are completely laid-back and put on the first thing that they can reach while others really take time to style their outfit for the day. And I am both, depending on the day.”

Alvaro Gonzales, Florence- and London-based accessory designer, had just come from a vacation in Amanpulo, Palawan. He was looking for a Filipino restaurant in the city before departing Manila.

Alvaro has been designing for more than 20 years and has already shown his works at Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
