PETER PILOTTO
PETER PILOTTO’s show during the Audi Fashion Festival was inspiring. It felt like it was in a cyber-techno world; where women are powerful manifested through the clothes heavily adorned with prints, and in bold shapes with minute details and sharp finishing. At least that is how I saw it – whether other felt the same I am not certain. One thing is certain though, and that is the genuine outpouring of appreciation at the end of the show for the strong and brilliant display put on by the brand.
Behind PETER PILOTTO are designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. Pilotto is half-Austrian, half-Italian and De Vos is half-Belgian, half-Peruvian. They met whilst studying at Antwerp’s prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in the year 2000…
In December 2009, PETER PILOTTO was awarded the best emerging talent award at the British Fashion Awards. Autumn Winter 2012 marked the tenth London catwalk show for the design duo, supported by Topshop. For their Spring Summer 2012 Collection, they were awarded Fashion Forward sponsorship, supported by the British Fashion Council and Coutts. - Source : PETER PILOTTO
